AIMS AND SCOPE OF THE MCTJ & MCPJ JOURNALS

Devoted to system engineering and reverse engineering the organic and bevioral biological adaptations that are guided by Darwin’s laws.

The aim of the MCon Journals is to expand the study of neuroscience to include all biological adaptations (from the organic body to the human brain) that have been genetically designed by Darwin’s Laws. New tools for the study of Darwinian robotic neuroscience:
a) Reverse engineering by means of neural networks, servomechanism and computers the structure and functions of the biological body and brain.
b) a system engineering approach to the study of the motivational system in the brain, the study of “consciousness, emotion, ” and animal and human behavior.

The MCon journals are unique in that a precise formulation of Darwin’s law is the underlying rationale for reverse engineering all biological adaptations. (see formulation of Darwin’s Law). Furthermore, the MCon Journals have taken the first step in designing the biological adaptations of the Consciousness Mechanism, the Emotional Mechanism, and the sensory-motor control functions of the biological brain (steps taken with the tool of reverse engineering biological adaptations by utilizing Darwin’s Law)

The scope of the MCon Journals is the study of Darwinian biological organic adaptations and the Darwinian connectivity and function of the central nervous system. The scope includes in addition to the fields of neuroscience, cognitive science, psychiatry, philosophy, artificial intelligence, linguistics, sociology and medicine, reverse engineering and systems engineering by means of neural networks, servomechanisms, computers, and robotic engineering. Reverse engineering and system engineering also encompasses utilization of the laws of physics, biophysics, chemistry and biochemistry in the study of humanoid robotics and the development of android systems that exhibit all the characteristics of humans.
A system Engineering project of massive proportions: Is there a possible alternative to human cloning?

INVITATION & CALL FOR PAPERS:
MCTJ: Android Engineering & MCPJ: Applied Darwinism
GENERAL GUIDELINES:

We need the scientific and engineering community to validate the tools of Darwin’s Laws and Reverse engineering; to validate our approach and carry this work forward. We call upon the world community of scientists and engineers to critique our work, to validate our approach and to carry this work forward.

WHICH JOURNAL TO SUBMIT A WORK TO:

MCTJ: Android Engineering is a multidisciplinary journal of humanoid robotics devoted to reverse engineering the Darwinian biological adaptations of the body and brain. The Darwinian biological adaptations must adhere to Darwin’s laws in general and to the formulation in particular:
Formulation-I: Every living organism, representing or member of any given specie, has been genetically designed with organic adaptations that are conducive (statistically) to its survival in its environmental niche. (By Darwin’s definition the survival of the fittest (in an environmental niche) refers to reproductive success in perpetuating the specie).
Authors are encouraged to read the MCTJ preview edition, and submit scientific, high quality papers that critique, correct, or carry this work forward.

MCPJ: Applied Darwinism is a multidisciplinary journal of humanoid robotics devoted to reverse engineering the programming of the human brain. The organic central nervous system and the human brain in particular is viewed as a Darwinian biological adaptation that must adhere to Darwin’s laws in general and to the formulation-II in particular:
Formulation II: Every living organism, representing or member of any given specie, has been genetically designed with behavioral drives that are conducive (statistically) to its survival in its environmental niche. (By Darwin’s definition the survival of the fittest (in an environmental niche) refers to behavior patterns that lead to reproductive success in perpetuating the specie).

The behavioral drives, referred to in formulation-II have been reverse engineered and defined technically as Task-initiating Triggers (TTs). Thus, the behavior patterns of a specie that are defined by TTs (animals and humans) have in common the Darwinian statistical inclination towards survival. The MCPJ is a multidisciplinary journal devoted to the evolutionary development of language, speech processing, and auditory comprehension. It includes:

  • The programming / learning of humanoid and robotic systems.
  • Evolutionary and cultural development of verbalization and vocabulary.
  • The cultural adaptation and development of intelligence.
  • The cultural adaptation and development of societal systems (sociobiology).

The MCPJ may Appeal to the general public with a philosophical interest in the Consciousness Mechanism, the hedonic motivational system in the brain, the mind-body problem, and how the closure of the functional loop between the mind (emotions) and the body (health) effects individual behavior, intelligence, and the development of societal systems.

Authors are encouraged to read the MCTJ preview edition with special emphasis on the design of the NCE and NCC-circuit for audition and sound generation.

Authors are reminded that there exists a measurable Neuronal Correlate to every subjective experience, and are encouraged to present measurements of the Neuronal Correlate when discussing conscious/emotional experiences. (In the near future MCon shall offer a list of instruments that may be used to measure some of the more common Neuronal Correlates of consciousness).

Authors are encouraged to focus on any of the topics enumerated above and submit scientific, high quality papers that critique, correct, or carry this work forward.

SUBMISSION GUIDE TO AUTHORS.

All submissions to the MCTJ and MCPJ will be peer reviewed by the editorial Board. In the near future, all submissions will be made electronically, on line, in a web page that is now “under construction.” In the intrim all submissions may be sent via E-mail as an attachment to submission@mcon.org in the form of a pdf or .doc format. The editorial board shall respond immediately:

a) If an external peer review is not required, the editorial board shall review and correspond its decision within a 3-week period.
b) If an external peer review is required, the review and decision shall be transmitted to the author within a 6-week period.
